Spunlace Hydroentanglement
Short fibers such as cotton, are carded to form a web before they are interlaced and entangle using high pressure water jets that bond the fibers into a sheet.

Manufacturing Process
High pressure jets of water are sprayed onto a pile of fibers (web) which entangle and bond them into a sheet.
Since no binding agent is used, the resulting material is soft and naturally drapes like cloth. The hydroentanglements method can be used to produce spunlace from 100% cotton fibers or laminate different kinds of nonwoven fabric together without the use of binding agents. It is suitable for delicate applications like hygiene products and cosmetics.
